316 Stainless Steel Long Link Chain – Marine Grade Polished Chain per Metre.
High-Tensile Material – Manufactured from premium-grade steel, ensuring long-lasting performance.
Corrosion-Resistant Options Available – Galvanised and stainless steel coatings for enhanced protection in marine environments.
316 Stainless Steel Long Link Chain is designed for reliable use in marine, mooring, rigging, and corrosive environments where strength and resistance to saltwater are essential. Manufactured from genuine marine-grade 316 stainless steel, this chain provides excellent durability and long service life in harsh wet conditions.
This chain is supplied cut to length per metre and is suitable for mooring assemblies, bridles, rigging configurations, and general marine use where corrosion resistance and clean finish are required.
Sizes available: 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm long link polished stainless steel chain.
316 stainless steel long link chain is widely used in marine and coastal environments due to its resistance to corrosion, rust, and degradation. Grade 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which significantly improves resistance to chloride attack, making it the correct choice for saltwater applications, harbours, pontoons, and permanent outdoor installations.
The long link configuration provides greater flexibility compared to short link chain, allowing easier handling, connection to fittings, and compatibility with shackles, swivels, and mooring hardware. It is commonly used where ease of movement, fabrication, and assembly are important.
This chain is supplied cut to length and can be incorporated into complete mooring assemblies, bridles, risers, and fabricated marine rigs in our workshop.
All chain supplied is genuine marine-grade polished stainless steel suitable for commercial and leisure marine use.
